Place your Lotso Hugging Bear back in the original pink bag; however, only those purchased at the Disney store will have them. Seal your Lotso Huggging Bear within the plastic bag and leave it for 24 to 48 hours. The pink bag is designed to retain and restore the stuffed animal's scent.
Wash your Lotso Hugging Bear with strawberry-scented laundry soap. This should only be attempted on the miniature Lotso Hugging Bears that don't have voice boxes inside of them. Don't add fabric softener to the wash as this will diminish the strawberry scent. If you can't find strawberry-scented laundry soap, substitute a small drop of strawberry-scented shampoo.
Spray your Lotso Hugging Bear with strawberry-scented body mist or perfume. This can be done on all Lotso bears, even those with electronics inside, as long as you are careful not to soak the bear.
Restore the Lotso Hugging Bear's scent by using strawberry lotion. Take a small amount of lotion and rub it evenly into your hands. Massage the lotion into the stuffed animal's fur. The Lotso Hugging Bear will be damp for a few minutes, but once it dries it will have its original strawberry scent again.
