Things You'll Need
Instructions
Find an inconspicuous seam on the stuffed animal that is easily accessible. A seam along the toy's back, side or bottom would be a good choice.
Use a seam ripper to rip a small portion of the seam, being careful not to damage the surrounding fabric of the animal. You should make the hole large enough for you to fit several fingers inside the stuffed toy.
Add stuffing through the ripped seam, taking care not to rip the seam further. Try to find a stuffing similar to what's already inside the toy so the stuffed animal will have a uniform consistency. Make sure the new stuffing makes it into the toy's arms, legs and head. Add slightly more stuffing than you think the animal needs, as the new stuffing will also lose some of its fluff after repeated use.
Use a needle and thread to sew the seam closed. Use thread that is the same color at the threading on the original seams so the spot will not stick out from the rest of the stitching on the stuffed animal.
