Use teddy bears in place of throw pillows. Instead of having 3 to 5 throw pillows on your couch or accenting various chairs in your living areas, use the teddies. You should use large, fluffy bears for this purpose, and make sure that they are bears that you do not mind other people handling, as their fuzzy warmth will make it impossible for other bear lovers not to cuddle them.
Supplement seasonal decor with your bears. Use your bears in seasonal mantle displays and in other holiday themed home decorating arenas. For example, place a few bears under your Christmas tree and in stockings to create a toyland theme, or place one in an open ceramic pumpkin for Thanksgiving or Halloween. You can even dress them up before you place them in their temporary spots.
Accent various household containers with your teddies. Place smaller stuffed or porcelain bears on the bases of household containers like napkin holders. If you want, you can glue them on or you can just stick them to the surface with double sided tape for easy removal later.
Place your favorite bear in a seat of honor. Give your best bear his own chair. A rocking chair is an ideal throne for your number one teddy. It will give the room a rustic, simple feel and keep your best bear out in the open where you can enjoy him every day.
Create small scenes with more delicate collectables. Instead of just lining up your bears on a shelf, use them to create interesting scenes that will be fun and entertaining to look at. You can position them so that they look like they are picnicking or pose them so that they appear to be interacting with other collectables.
