How to Display Collectible Bears

Most bear collectors enjoy looking at their bears, but some collectors are not sure how to display them. Whether your bears are the furry, soft, cuddly kind, or a figural made from crystal, wood or other material, those adorable creatures surely have a special place in your heart. Here's how to display them for your enjoyment.

Displaying Stuffed Bears

  Prop your bears on a shelves by using books, pretty boxes, small ladders, picture frames or other bears to make an attractive vignette. Make sure to arrange them in a way that is pleasing to you.

  Stand your collectible bears on shelves using a bear stand.

  Place a bear couple in a swing made for bears or dolls.

  Sit several of your bears in wicker doll chairs or swings.

  Rotate your bear collection to avoid any fading or wear to their fur.

  Brush or dust the bears' fur periodically.
Displaying Figural Bears

  Decide if you want to display your bears in a closed display case or on an open shelf.

  Group your bears by bear type, such as polar bears or black bears.

  Display your bears in groupings by style, construction material, collection or type. For example, display all crystal bears together.

  Size your bears on a shelf in order, putting the larger ones in the back and the smaller ones in the front.
