How Do You Drive a Yiboo Helicopter Toy?

Many children, teenagers and adult radio controlled vehicle enthusiasts fly mini Yiboo helicopter toys for fun and sport. Yiboo helicopters feature a gyroscope that helps to stabilize and balance the helicopter during flight. The toy also features a simple RC transmitter design with a left throttle joystick and right direction joystick. As a result, driving your Yiboo helicopter toy doesn̵7;t require any real prior knowledge about RC toys or flying. You just need to know the methods to prepare your helicopter and controller for flight and then fly the toy using slight hand movements on the controller.

Instructions

  1. Preparation

    • 1

Push the plug on the AC adapter included with your Yiboo helicopter into the port located on the side of the helicopter near the front.

    • 2

Check that the Power switch is in the ̶0;Off̶1; position and then plug the adapter into an electrical socket.

    • 3

Wait for your Yiboo helicopter̵7;s internal rechargeable Li-Poly battery to charge until the LED turns off or changes color from red to green.

    • 4

Unplug the adapter from the electrical socket after the battery has finished charging. Unplug the adapter from your helicopter.

    • 5

Prepare the controller for use. Remove the battery cover from the back of the controller and insert four to six AA batteries, as needed. Replace the cover and then extend the antenna.

    Flight

    • 6

Slide the Power switch on your helicopter to the ̶0;On̶1; position and then place it on a level, flat surface with the tail toward you and the nose pointing away.

    • 7

Pick up and turn on the controller. Place your left thumb near the left joystick and your right thumb near the right joystick.

    • 8

Push the left joystick slowly up to start up your Yiboo helicopter̵7;s blades and get it off the ground. Move the right joystick slowly left or right to rotate your helicopter in either direction.

    • 9

Push the right joystick up to bring the helicopter̵7;s nose down/tail up and move it forward. Push the right stick down to bring the tail down/nose up to move it backward.

    • 10

Experiment and practice the movements to master them. For example, try vertical ascents and descents, turns and landing on a specific spot.
