Instructions
Choose a flat, open area in which to launch and land your RC plane. An empty parking lot or flat field will do.
Power on the RC plane from the remote control and hold it with its wings even to the ground.
Face into the wind, take a few quick steps and then throw the plane away from you and slightly up to launch it.
Use the left controller stick to move the plane up and down.
Use the right controller stick to turn the plane left or right using its rudder. If you are facing the direction of the plane, left and right will be the same on the stick. However, if you are facing the opposite direction of the plane, left and right on the stick will be switched.
Turn the plane using the stick to keep it in the flight area. Get a feel for the turns and only turn the plane a bit at a time. Overturning the plane can cause it to spiral to the ground.
Direct your RC plane toward the area where you intend to land.
Use the left stick on the remote to reduce throttle by half.
Use the controls on the unit to level out the plane, so that the tail rises and the nose points down at a 45-degree angle.
Reduce throttle completely when the plane approaches the final 60 feet of its approach.
Use the controls to lift the nose of the plane slightly up so it is parallel with the rear of the plane. Keep this position as the plane descends to the landing area.
