Instructions
Turn your DuraTrax RC car off and place it on an elevated surface, such as a kitchen counter top or dining table.
Remove the shell from the frame of the DuraTrax RC car by pulling out the retaining clips or pins. Set the shell aside momentarily.
Locate the brake disc on the Duratrax car, there will be two screws in the disc. Tighten the screws with a Phillips head screwdriver, but do not over-tighten or the disc will puff smoke when engaged and it might warp the disc.
Roll the DuraTrax car back and forth to ensure the brake disc is not set too tightly.
Adjust the brake line by hand, turning it counterclockwise one-quarter turn at a time. Roll the DuraTrax car back and forth again to make sure the car rolls freely.
Turn on the DuraTrax RC car and place it on the floor. Run the RC car back and forth across the floor, stopping it often to test the brakes. Adjust the brake line as necessary until set properly, then replace the shell.
