How to Make an Adjustment on the Helimax Axe CP

The Helimax Axe CP is a toy helicopter that can be controlled through the use of an RF (radio frequency) remote that comes with the device. Make adjustments to the helicopter by using the three knobs on the helicopter's "E-board" located on the motor. Moving the knobs requires some practice for developing precise maneuvering of the Helimax.

Instructions

    • 1

Adjust the "left/right bias" knob, located at the top of the helicopter's E-board, with your fingers. Turn the knob clockwise to increase the helicopter's left tail rotor bias.

    • 2

Adjust the helicopter's "gyro gain" knob, located under the "left/right bias" knob, with your fingers. Turning the knob clockwise will increase gain. Increasing the gain too much will cause a very fast oscillation in the helicopter tail.

    • 3

Adjust the "tail rotor trim" knob, located under the "gyro gain" knob, with your fingers. Turn the knob clockwise to add right tail rotor trim. Adjusting this knob can keep the helicopter from drifting to the left or right.
