Things You'll Need
Instructions
Purchase and install a racing motor into your basic Radline RC car. If you pull off the body of the car, you will see the housing into which the motor fits. Simply pry off the cover, remove the motor and slip the racing motor into the housing. When this is completed, replace the housing. Racing motors feature stronger magnets than stock. With 27,000 rotations per minute, Radline racing motors far exceed the capabilities of standard motors.
Install oil-filled shocks in place of the standard shock absorbers on your Radline RC vehicle. Oil-filled shocks are installed with screws, one at both the top and the bottom of the shock. They improve the car's handling and jumping capability and are less likely to break than the stock plastic units.
Install bumpers and bumper mounts onto the Radline RC vehicle. Bumper kits help prevent you from damaging the vehicle's internal and steering components during crashes. These parts install with a screwdriver into standard mounting points located on the vehicle's chassis.
Switch the standard gears for Radline RC's pinion and spur gear kit. These kits tune your vehicle's performance in one of two ways. You can gain additional torque or added economy from installation. Additional torque is a good idea when you typically race off-road, while the economy gears are good for increasing your vehicle's run times. Follow the included instructions carefully to determine the exact position each gear is mounted.
