How Do I Troubleshoot SYMA Century RC Boat?

If your SYMA Century RC boat isn't working correctly, take some time and troubleshoot the craft and see if there is a simple solutions. Usually when an RC boat doesn't perform correctly, the problem is usually something the owner can solve himself. Before you take your RC boat into a service center or replace it all together, make sure your boat is truly ready for the dry dock.

      Charge the batteries in the boat by plugging the AC adapter into the charging input on the boat. The input on the boat will be labelled "CHG." Insert the end of the adapter into the boat and plug the other end into the wall outlet. It could take four to five hours to fully charge the boat.

      Check the on/off switch on the boat to confirm that it is in the "On" position. If it isn't, slide the switch to the "On" position.

      Replace the batteries in the remote control. The remote takes eight AA batteries.

      Inspect the two propellers on the back of the boat and make sure there isn't anything wrapped around them. If there is, carefully remove the obstructions by turning the propellers in the opposite direction to loosen the obstruction.
