Instructions for a Tamiya RC

Tamiya manufactures remote controlled (RC) toy vehicles, which range from trucks and tanks to crawlers and cars with 2, 3 or 4-wheel drive and on-road and off-road varieties. Model kits come finished and unfinished or painted and unpainted. Users control Tamiya RC devices with the Tamiya Finespec FM radio control system, which includes a radio transmitter/controller and a radio receiver. Tamiya RCs are intended for adults and children with adult supervision, but not for small children.

     Install 8 AA, non-Ni-MH batteries of less than 1.5V per cell in to the transmitter. Batteries are not included with the Finespec FM system.

     Flip the transmitter switch and the receiver switch up to turn the RC on. Flip both switches down to turn off.

   • 3

     Change the direction of the RC by turning the wheel on the transmitter. Pull the trigger to move forward, switch it to neutral to stop and push the trigger to move in reverse.
