Instructions for Hot Wheels Speed Racer Sky Jump

Hot Wheels is a line of toy cars that were first introduced by the Mattel company in 1968. Since then the toy line has included a number of themed tracks and vehicles. The Speed Racer series includes cars that are featured in the animated cartoon. The Sky Jump race track is a race course that features high jumps, stunts and the possibility for crashes between the racing cars. The step by step instructions must be followed to ensure the best service from this product.

Instructions

    • 1

      Open the cover of the Sky Jump and place the four size-D batteries into position and close the cover.

      Locate each track piece by using the paper instructions that were included with the track set by name. Make sure you have every item that is listed on the instructions.

      Attach track supports to the top of the base. Listen for the "snap" sound to signify the track support is properly connected.

      Connect tunnel base to side of the race track base. Listen for the "snap" sound to signify the base is properly connected.

      Attach the lower ramp to the base. Listen for the "snap" sound to signify the ramp is properly connected.

      Pull the base of the tower all the way down until it snaps into position. Listen for the "snap" sound to signify the base is fully extended.

      Attach the base foot to the bottom of the tower. Listen for the "snap" sound to signify the base is properly connected.

      Connect tower to base ramp. Listen for the "snap" sound to signify the tower is properly connected.

      Attach canopy to the top of the tower. The canopy should slide into place without any trouble.

      Connect funnel to base. Listen for the "snap" sound to signify the funnel is properly connected.

      Roll the cone with the shiny side out and insert it into the funnel.

      Attach the tunnel to the top of the rollers. Listen for the "snap" sound to signify the tunnel properly connected to the rollers.

      Snap curve connector into place at the top of track support. Listen for the "snap" sound to signify the curve connector is properly connected.

      Attach curve of track to connector and slide into the base. Listen for the "snap" sound to signify the connector is attached to the base.

      Slide track connector onto left track curve. The connector will snap into place when it is properly fitted.

      Attach left curve to curve connector and the track to base P. The curve will snap into place when properly fitted to the connector.

      Secure left and right curves together with track connector. Both ends of the curve track piece will snap into place with their respective connectors.

      Attach rear curve to base at Q1 and Q2 locations. The curve will snap into place when it connected.

      Attach rear curve track to base R. The rear curve will snap into place when connected.

      Attach straight track to S location and attach the track support. The support will snap into place on the bottom portion of the track.

      Attach the coil track to both of the curve track connectors. Attach the tail support to the coil track. Both the curve track connectors and tail support will snap into place on the underside of the coil track.

      Attach the remaining short track curve to the long track. The short track curve and long track will snap together to signify a proper connection.

    • 23

      Attach the snap back support to the coil track.The snap back support will lock into place on the underside of the coil track.

    • 24

      Insert cars into the starting blocks and turn the track on to begin play.
