How Do I Get My Zero Gravity Nano to Charge?

The Zero Gravity Nano is an Air Hogs R/C Wall Climber car with an air-suction feature that allows you to race it, defying gravity, up walls and across ceilings. A preinstalled lithium polymer rechargeable battery provides the car with power. The radio-signal remote controller doubles as a battery charger. The car's headlights blink to indicate low power. To charge the car you must insert fresh batteries into the controller and then connect the car to the controller's charging connector.

Instructions

    • 1

Turn off your Air Hogs R/C Zero Gravity Nano controller and then turn it so that the bottom points up.

    • 2

Unscrew and remove the battery compartment door. Set the door aside.

    • 3

Insert six 1.5-volt AA alkaline or rechargeable batteries into the controller's battery compartment with the batteries aligned to match the positive and negative marks in the compartment. Return the door to the device and secure it in place with the screw.

    • 4

Place the controller on a flat, level surface and flip up the see-through door. Place your Zero Gravity Nano car, back end first, on the controller and then push the back of the car against the charger so that the charging connector plugs into the port on the car.

    • 5

Slide the power switch on the controller to the left "Charge" position. The red LED turns on. After 10 seconds the LED starts flashing, indicating that the car is charging.

    • 6

Wait 30 to 50 minutes for the car to finish charging. When the car has charged completely, the red and green LEDs flash.

    • 7

Move the switch to the middle, "Off," position. Remove your car. It is ready to race again.
