How to Adjust a Hover Lite Helicopter to Fly It

The Hoverlite radio-controlled (RC) helicopter is a mini aircraft with a two-channel control. This small helicopter is intended for beginners, offering simple functionality for basic flight. The Hoverlite is a fixed-pitch helicopter and therefore requires little input from the pilot aside from up/down and left/right directional influence. Learn how to setup your Hoverlite RC helicopter to prepare it for flight.

  Turn on your transmitter and the aircraft. Place the helicopter on a flat, level surface.

  Apply slight throttle using the left joystick. Increase thrust to raise the helicopter to around 3 feet of altitude. Watch the helicopter's behavior to assess the need for adjustment.

  Use the trim slider, located underneath the right joystick, to correct any uncontrolled spinning you may experience. Move the trim left to correct clockwise rotation; slide the trim right to correct counterclockwise rotation. Make gradual adjustments to the trim until the helicopter no longer spins uncontrollably.
