How to Replace the Blade on a RC Air Hog

Airhogs R/C helicopters offer a simplistic flight experience great for any pilot's skill set. Learning how to replace your Airhog's blades will ensure that you spend more time in the air than on the ground.

      Grip the old rotor at the base of the assembly, where the plastic rod meets the metal shaft extending from the helicopter's fuselage. Pull the entire assembly off the rotor shaft by tugging and twisting it counter-clockwise.

      Insert the main shaft into the plastic mounting pipe located in the center of the replacement rotor-blade set. Press the assembly down onto the shaft until it clicks into position.

      Tug the rotor assembly with your hand to check that it has seated properly. Turn on the helicopter and transmitter, then apply throttle to check that it is functioning properly.
