      Turn on the transmitter, then enter the settings menu. Highlight the "gyro" file to turn off the "Revolution Mixing" option. It will be abbreviated as "RVMX" on the transmitter display screen.

      Open the settings screen on the transmitter, then highlight the GAIN option. Set the gain to 70 percent.

      Turn on the helicopter to assess the head lock direction of the gyro. Move the tail counterclockwise, the servo horn should trim counterclockwise as well; if it does not, press the Reverse button on the gyro to correct it.
