Instructions for a Tyco R/C

Tyco radio-controlled (RC) vehicles are some of the most unique vehicles on the market. They offer a wide variety of special abilities, and are much more durable than their hobby-grade counterparts. While Tyco RC vehicles are considered toy-grade, it is important that you understand how to operate them properly. Instructions

    • 1

Charge your battery, unless the vehicle uses alkaline batteries. Plug in the charger into a wall socket, then insert the battery pack with the arrow printed on the battery matching up with the arrow on the charger. Let the battery get fully charged, which should take around 4 hours.

    • 2

Detach the battery from the charger by pressing the red release switch on the charger. Open the vehicle's battery compartment by sliding the release mechanism, then insert the battery in accordance with the illustration printed on the battery compartment door. Push the battery inside the vehicle, then close the compartment and secure it with the slide tab.

    • 3

Insert a 9v battery into the transmitter by sliding open the battery compartment, and fitting it inside according to the illustration printed on the transmitter. Slide the compartment door closed, then turn on the transmitter and the vehicle.

    • 4

Use the left joystick to control the two left wheels, and use the right joystick to control the two right wheels. Use only one joystick to steer the direction left or right, and press both joysticks to move it forward; in other words, raising the right joystick will spin the right wheels, turning the vehicle to the left, whereas raising both joysticks will engage all four wheels, moving the car straight forward.

    • 5

Turn off the car when it begins to drive slowly as this indicates a need to recharge the battery. Remove the battery from the compartment, and repeat steps 1 and 2 to energize it for another drive.
