Air Hogs Mini Helicopter Instructions

While many RC enthusiasts consider the radio-controlled helicopter to be the most difficult vehicle to navigate, companies like Air Hogs have developed models intended for beginners. Mini helicopters provide simplistic controls and diluted mechanics to make them easy to fly. Learning how to use your Air Hogs mini helicopter will ensure that you have fun flying, while minimizing any risk of injury or damage to you or your aircraft.

Instructions

    • 1

Turn on the fully charged helicopter and the transmitter. Place the helicopter on a flat, wide-open space; choose an indoor location since this model is intended for indoor use only.

    • 2

Raise the left joystick to increase vertical thrust, lifting the helicopter off the ground. Continue to increase the throttle until the aircraft is about 6 or 7 inches off the ground. Relieve the throttle to maintain the helicopter in a hovering position.

    • 3

Adjust the steering trim by sliding the adjuster located beneath the right joystick. Offset a spinning helicopter by sliding the steering trim in the opposite direction of the vehicle's rotation; for example, if your aircraft spins clockwise, click the trim adjuster to the left to correct the spin. Make gradual adjustments to ensure proper settings.
