Things You'll Need
Instructions
Place the fully charged helicopter on a flat, wide-open surface. Choose a location with minimal wind, since this will drastically hinder the alignment procedure.
Use the left joystick to increase the throttle until the aircraft lifts off the ground. Allow the helicopter to gain a foot of altitude, then adjust the trim by sliding the scroller located beneath the right joystick. If the helicopter rotates clockwise, click the trim adjuster to the left to offset this rotation; if it spins counterclockwise, move the adjuster to the right. Make minor adjustments until the helicopter flies straight.
Land the helicopter by slowly decreasing the thrust with the left joystick. As the helicopter approaches the ground, slightly increase the throttle to reduce the impact of the landing. Lower the throttle joystick to it's idle position, then assess the idle setting of the throttle. If the helicopter blades don't slow down completely, reduce the throttle trim with the adjuster located to adjacent to the left joystick. Continue to reduce the throttle until the rotor ceases to move when the throttle joystick is in its idle position.
