Tyco Pro Flexpak Battery Charging Instructions

The Tyco Pro Flexpak battery charger accommodates the NiCad batteries designed for Tyco remote control vehicles. The NiCad batteries discharge rapidly, seeming as though it is fine one day and almost drained the next. Charge your batteries in the Pro Flexpak charger to use them repeatedly. Charge them properly to avoid shortening the battery lifespan.

Instructions

    • 1

Place the charger on a counter or the floor. Do not place it on carpet to avoid static buildup. Plug the power cord into the wall outlet.

    • 2

Let the battery cool completely if it is warm. Hold the battery pack so you are exposing the metal contacts on the top of the battery. Make sure that the labels with the "1" and "2" indicators are facing you.

    • 3

Insert the battery into the charger, sliding it directly into place until it clicks. Wait 5.5 hours for the battery to charge if this is the first or second time you have charged it. Wait four hours for a full charge after the first two charging cycles.

    • 4

Press in on the red button located on the side of the charger. Hold the button while you pull the battery out of the charger. Let it cool slightly before you reinstall it.
