How to Disassemble a Spinmaster RC Helicopter

Air Hogs is a line of remote controlled toys that includes rockets, airplanes and helicopters manufactured and sold by the Spin Master toy company. The Havoc Heli is a fully functional RC helicopter that measures 6.5 inches long and weighs just 10 grams. A motor located inside the body of the toy controls the helicopter blade and causes the toy to fly and maneuver. The motor may become stuck or stop functioning. Disassemble the RC helicopter to inspect the motor and internal functions of the toy.

     Insert a razor blade into the ridge located along the perimeter of the helicopter. The helicopter body is made of two separate halves.

     Move the razor blade along the perimeter, slowly pulling the toy apart as you move the blade.

   • 3

     Pull the two halves apart to disassemble and expose the insides of the Spin Master RC helicopter.
