      Disconnect the stabilizer at the top of the main shaft for the rotors by loosening the mounting screw, then loosen the screw that fastens the grip set to the shaft. Slide the entire unit off the main shaft, including the upper swash plate, which is at the bottom of the main axle for the rotors, and upper rotor blades.

      Disconnect the servo horn from the lower swash plate, then pop the push rod from the lower grip set. Slide the lower blade assembly and swash plate from the main rotor shaft.

      Loosen the fastener screws that secure the rotor shaft to the helicopter's transmission. There are two screws located at the point where the shaft enters the helicopter's chassis; remove these screws, then pull the bottom gear shaft loose.
