How to Install an Esky Co-Comanche Swashplate

The Co-Comanche by Esky is a coaxial, 4-channel helicopter designed to offer simplistic operation, high sensitivity and exceptional maneuverability. While this helicopter comes preassembled and ready to fly straight out of the box, it's important to become familiar with the design so you can make future adjustments, repairs and upgrades. Learning how to install the Co-Comanche's swashplate is a great way to familiarize yourself with the mechanics of the aircraft.

Instructions

    • 1

      Slide the outer portion of the swashplate down onto the rotor shaft, then slide the inner portion of the swashplate down on top of the outer portion. Secure them together by pressing the inner portion down into the outer portion.

      Slide the lower rotor assembly down onto the shaft and insert it through the center of the swashplate. Tighten the two peg bolts with a hex wrench, fastening the swashplate and rotor assembly to the rotor shaft.

      Slide the bearing bracket down onto the rotor shaft, followed by the bearing bracket. Insert the top of the rotor shaft into the upper rotor assembly, then secure it with the two peg bolts using the hex wrench.

      Secure the upper hub set by tightening the umbrella screw, then clip the fly bar assembly to the upper hub set by inserting the rods into either side of the hub.
