How to Build a Town for Hot Wheels

Hot Wheels are miniature toy cars that are built by the Mattel toy corporation. Besides cars, Hot Wheels also makes playsets. Many of these playsets are designed so that you can make your own town with them, but if you use your imagination, you can also build a town for your Hot Wheels cars with homemade items.

Hot Wheels playsets
Cardboard boxes
Paint
Paintbrush
Toy construction blocks

  Buy official Hot Wheels track playsets. Hot Wheels offers pieces of towns themselves like an automotive repair shop and fire station. Buy as many as you want and place them together to build your own city.

  Use cardboard boxes to design your own Hot Wheels city. Use different size cardboard boxes for different kinds of buildings. For instance, use taller boxes for skyscrapers. Once you have the cardboard boxes that you want, paint on them to make them look like buildings.

  Build a Hot Wheels town out of toy construction blocks. You can snap the blocks together to build any sort of building that you want. With construction blocks, there are so many colors and available styles that you can build so many different buildings.
