Things You'll Need
Instructions
Slide the blade of the razor in between the two Styrofoam sections of the helicopter. Push it in about a centimeter's distance.
Pull the blade along the seam, dividing the two sections. Trace the entire length of the seam, making sure to keep the blade centered. Make a continuous cut to ensure the helicopter will break in half without cracking the Styrofoam.
Hold the main rotor with a pair of needle-nose pliers, then unscrew the plastic rotor by twisting it counterclockwise. Pull the main rotor assembly off the helicopter, then set it aside.
Pinch the main rotor gears between your index finger and thumb, then gently pry them from the body. Pull out the rechargeable battery and the receiver chip.
Pull the landing skids from the body and set them aside.
