Things You'll Need
Instructions
Dab the cotton ball with some rubbing alcohol, then wipe down the area of the chassis where you plan to install the receiver. It's best to choose a spot farthest from the motor to minimize any radio interference. Wipe down the bottom of the receiver as well to remove any oily residue from the surface.
Cut a 1-inch section of double sided tape, then press it firmly to the chassis. Peel off the plastic to reveal the other tacky side of the tape, then press the receiver firmly, holding it for a few seconds to ensure a proper installation.
Insert the wire from the steering servo into the first channel of the receiver, then plug in the connector from the electronic speed control (ESC) into the second channel.
Thread the antenna through the plastic tubing that came with your vehicle's kit (you can also purchase one at your local hobby shop). Push the antenna wire all the way through, then insert the bottom end into the mounting brace on the chassis. Slide on the plastic fastener cup to prevent the antenna from coming loose.
