Instructions
Locate the pivot ball caps under the main body of the monster truck. They are easily identified by the two cross-shaped bars attached to the wheels' suspension. Use the included four-way suspension multi-tool to tighten or loosen the ball caps. Adjust them so that the pivot balls move properly in the axle carriers with no excess play.
Inspect the wheel attachments of the T-Maxx 3.3. There are four lower shock mounting positions, located directly next to the wheel on the connected axle, and three upper shock mounting positions located on the framework just above the main axle. Use position "A" on the upper shock mounting with positions one and two on the lower shock mounting. Position "A" is the central position or the three on the upper shock mounting, and positions one and two are the innermost on the lower shock mounting. Use position "B," which is the outermost upper shock mounting position, with the lower positions three and four, which are the outermost lower shock mounting positions. Other positions are possible, but you should consult the instruction manual for more information on the effects of these (see Resources).
Set your transmitter's steering trim to neutral if you wish to adjust the toe-in of your wheels. Adjust the steering turnbuckles so that the front wheels are pointing straight ahead. The wheels should now all be parallel to each other. Most users prefer one degree of toe-in on the rear wheels, so adjust the toe control links to set the toe-in at the desired level.
Add a wheelie bar. Look around the back of the T-Maxx 3.3. Locate the skid plate, which is underneath the bumper, and pull it downwards manually. On the flat side of the wheelie bar, there is a slot which slides directly onto the skid plate. This is a flat, black slot on the opposite side to the wheel attachment. Slide the wheelie bar down over the skid plate, and then clip the hook on top of the wheelie bar onto the bumper tube.
