How to Break in a Redcat Racing RC Nitro Truck

The Redcat Racing Radio Controlled Nitro truck may look like a toy but it is not. It has dual disk brakes and sway bars and uses highly flammable nitro fuel. This small truck is essentially a scaled high performance vehicle. When you first purchase a Redcat Nitro vehicle, you will need to perform several simple operations to break in your truck.

  Turn the truck over on its side and turn on the remote control.

  Turn the dial left and right and make sure the wheels are responsive to the remote.

  Use your hands to push the truck forward. Press the brake button and make sure the brakes on the truck are working.

  Place a few drops of fuel in the carburetor.

  Press the priming button to move the fuel into the engine then turn on the truck.
- 6
  Allow the fuel to run out then let the engine cool for at least one hour. This will loosen the piston and allow it to fit better with its sleeve.
