Instructions
Use the remote within range of the vehicle. If the car strays too far from remote, the vehicle will not receive the signal.
Check that the batteries are properly installed in the remote and the vehicle. The remote uses a 9V battery that inserts into the bottom of the controller. The vehicle uses a rechargeable battery pack that sits in the battery bay on the bottom of the car, with a plug-in battery connector. Check that the connector is securely connected. If the rechargeable battery does not work and will not charge, replace it.
Check that the batteries have power. If the remote does not turn on, the battery may be dead. Replace it with a new 9V battery. If the vehicle does not power up, charge the battery pack. Connect the battery to the quick charger kit, and charge it for an hour.
Check that the remote and car are on the same frequency. The car can be run on three frequencies -- 27MHz, 40MHz and 49MHz -- so you can run multiple cars at once. Set the frequency dial on the remote to match the frequency dial on the bottom of the car.
