Radlines RC Fang AWD Racing Buggy Information

The Radlines Fang is an all-wheel drive RC buggy. Radlines designed the Fang to achieve high performance and agile movements. The Fang is battery-operated and comes with decal stickers so a user can choose the look of the RC vehicle. The Fang resembles a race car, while Radlines Detour and Warpath RC models resemble a sport car and monster truck. Radline also offers optional performance parts for their RC vehicles.
  1. Specifications

    • The Radlines RC Fang racing buggy uses an RLX 240 motor with up to 20,000 rpm speed. The all-wheel drive system equipped on the Fang features an in-line shaft-driven system, and the radio-control RLTX 3-band system comes with a transmitter that utilizes either 27 or 49 megahertz frequencies. The chassis is a sturdy UL-01ST design. The front and rear differentials are gear driven and the suspension type sports a wishbone design. The Fang sports high-range front and rear suspension arms as well as RLC chrome wheels with road ripper 24 tires.

    Included Equipment

    • The Radlines Fang comes with all the necessary equipment and tools needed to operate the vehicle. A transmitter antenna, antenna cap and tube make up the transmitter system. Tools include a screwdriver, gear puller, 10/12 teeth pinion gear and shock spacer. Along with an owner's manual, a body pin and label sheet are included. As the Fang runs on battery power, Radlines also includes batteries in the packaging. Four AAA batteries as well as one 9V battery comes with the Fang; however, Radlines recommends users purchase rechargeable NiMH 2000 mAH batteries.

    Radio Controller

    • The Radlines Fang comes with the RTX-1 controller. This steering controller is designed to be held in the left hand so the right hand can operate the controls. Controls on the RTX-1 include: steering wheel, throttle trim, steering trim, throttle trigger, acceleration control, adjustable steering radio antenna and power indicator. Once the Fang is properly assembled, the throttle and steering trim will need to be adjusted. The throttle trim varies the idle of the vehicle when it is not driving; the steering trim adjusts the steering-control settings when the steering wheel is in its neutral position. The steering radius control provides larger or smaller fine-tuned adjustments to tire steering radius.

    Safety Precautions

    • When operating the Fang RC, Radlines outlines a series of safety precautions that it recommends be followed to avoid any injury or property damage. Operating the RC Fan in crowds risks harming or tripping someone, and should be avoided. Always avoid driving the Fang on public or pedestrian roads with cars or people, as this risks causing an accident or damage. Do no handle batteries or motor during or immediately after use of the RC Fang, as they become hot during operation. Operate the Fang within a continual line of sight and avoid driving it near water. Due to choking hazards, ensure small children do not get a hold of the Fang's small parts.
