Things You'll Need
Instructions
Remove any batteries from the airplane and store them in a fire-proof container. This will protect the plane and the storage area from any potential damage caused by electrical charge left over in the battery.
Place the airplanes themselves onto storage racks or shelves that are above the ground. There are racks available at several hobby and hardware stores that are especially designed to hold R/C and model airplanes. These racks should be hung higher on a wall if there are children or pets present.
Place the airplane and battery in a cool, dry area. This could be anywhere from a garage that is air conditioned to a hobby room inside of the home.
