Things You'll Need
Instructions
Charge the battery for 16 hours. Make sure the lights on the charger are on during charging, indicating that the outlet you are using has power.
Re-insert the battery and make sure the engine connector is securely connected to the battery.
Tighten the wheel nuts with a wrench -- loose wheel nuts will not engage the forward gears.
Check for and reconnect any loose wires around the motor.
Move the vehicle to smooth, level ground before attempting to drive it. Steep slopes, mud or loose gravel can cause the engine to overload and the thermal fuse to trip, causing the car to lose power for about 15 seconds.
