How to Install a Peg-Perego Gator Battery

Peg Perego produces several battery-powered ride-on toys, many of them accurate replicas of real vehicles. The Peg Perego Gator is modeled on the John Deere Gator HPX, and is for children aged three to eight. A 12-volt rechargeable battery powers the Gator, which can be driven at two different speeds and also in reverse. It is important to charge a new battery for at least 18 hours, but no more than 24 hours before using it. Installing a battery is a simple process, but it should only be done by an adult.
