Smart Sense Batteries
Little Tikes "Smart Sense" refers to the ability of the charger to shut off once a battery is charged. This prevents overcharging which could damage the battery.
The indicator light on the Smart Sense charger tells you when the battery is charged. When the indicator light is on, the battery is charging. When the light turns off, the battery is completely charged. This allows parents to immediately see when the battery is fully charged, rather than having to wait the entire recommended battery charge time. This saves time when the battery is partially depleted and only needs a short session of charging.
