Things You'll Need
Instructions
Open the train set and remove all the pieces.
Assemble the track. Pieces of the track will either snap or slide together. You should not have to force any pieces together. Most train sets come in either an oval or figure-eight pattern and come with a bridge. Identify which pieces belong to the bridge, if applicable.
Assemble the train. Trains are usually three to six cars long and include the front of the train and a caboose. Train cars should hook or snap together.
Arrange any other accessories. Many train sets come with trees, signs or other accessories. Place them wherever you would like to complete your new train set.
