Instructions

    • 1

Set the groove at the tip of a Hot Wheels axle tool on the axle between the interior side of the wheel and the body of the car. Using a rocking motion, bend the axle with the axle tool until it is straight.

    • 2

Wrap the tip of a screwdriver with a clean cloth to diminish scratching of the paint. Insert the tip of the screwdriver between the body of the car and the chassis. There are two tabs on the middle of both sides of the car body that attach it to the chassis. Insert the screwdriver under one of these tabs and pry it upwards. This should remove the body from the chassis.

    • 3

Press inwards on the windshield from the outside to push it out of the car body.

    • 4

Push the replacement windshield into the windshield frame from the inside of the car until it snaps into place.

    • 5

Insert the tip of the cloth-wrapped screwdriver under the interior of the car. Pry upwards until the interior is removed.

    • 6

Set the replacement interior on top of the chassis of the car and press it into the chassis until it snaps into place.

    • 7

Place the body of the car on top of the chassis. Press it into the chassis until it snaps into place.
