Things You'll Need
Instructions
Remove the motor from the vehicle. Loosen the mounting screws, then slide the motor out of the vehicle's motor compartment. Unclip the positive and negative wire connections to completely disconnect the motor from the car.
Hold the motor with the the metal rod protruding from the can pointing up; this shaft is called the motor shaft. Touch the lubrication oil to the tip of the shaft, then let it drip down into the motor's can. Only apply two or three drops; too much oil can interfere with the motor's connectivity during operation.
Rotate the motor so the shaft points toward the ground. Apply a single drop of oil to the back end of the shaft. You'll see a small ball bearing or metal bushing surrounding the metal rod; make sure to apply the oil directly to it. Spin the motor a few times manually to ensure the oil is evenly spread.
