Things You'll Need
Instructions
Unclip the vehicle's body shell, then unscrew the motor's mounting screws. Slide the motor from its housing, then unclip it from the electronic speed control, or ESC, by disconnecting the positive and negative wires.
Drop the motor into a glass of water so that the two wires remain dry and accessible. Connect the single C battery to the wires, then allow the motor to run for three minutes while completely submerged.
Remove the motor from the water and dab it dry with a towel. Apply two to three drops of lubrication on the front and red ball bearings. They are located at either end of the motor shaft, which is the long metal rod that spins when the motor is engaged.
Reinstall the motor. Slide it into its housing, then install the motor mounting screws.
