Instructions
Insert the armature into the motor can. The armature is the moving part of the motor, it is composed of a long metal shaft, fixed with magnets and a long coiling wire. Slide it into the back-end of the motor can, which is the cylindrical metal body that houses the armature.
Reinstall the end-bell, which is the plastic back-side of the motor. The shaft of the armature should slide into the center of the end-bell, through a bearing or bushing. Install the two screws that attach the end-bell to the motor can.
Solder a positive and negative lead to the motor's terminals. There are two metal tabs located on the end-bell, these are how power from the battery reaches the motor.
Test that the motor is fully functional by either manually spinning the shaft, or applying a reduced amount of power to the device using a low-capacity battery.
