How to Add Batteries to Air Hog Controllers

Air Hog RC vehicles are miniature aircraft suitable for indoor flight. Unlike most RC vehicles, you charge an Air Hog RC by plugging the vehicle directly into the radio controller. Because of this, you'll have to change the batteries in your Air Hog controller more often than with RC controllers whose power usage is constrained to sending operational radio signals to the vehicle only. With this need in mind, the makers of the controller placed the batteries into a quickly accessed battery compartment, making the changing process one that you can complete in a matter of minutes.

Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the screw holding the battery compartment door in place on the rear of the controller.

    • 3

Slide the battery compartment door toward the base of the controller and pull it away from the unit to access the battery compartment.
