Instructions

  1. Making Your Midget Race Car

    • 1

Remove the plastic from the tissue box opening. Be sure not to damage the box in the process.

    • 2

Poke four holes in the sides of the box using the sharpened pencil. Place the holes at the top and bottom of the long sides of the box, making sure to poke two holes on each side.

    • 3

Insert one dull pencil into each set of holes, this will act as your wheel axle. Make sure you move the pencils around to maximize the amount of room they will have to turn the wheels.

    • 4

Put a small dot of glue onto the inner side of a bottle cap. Place the bottle cap onto the end of one of the unsharpened pencils. Press firmly until it dries. Repeat this process with each of the three other wheels.

    • 5

Glue the remaining bottle cap to the front of the opening on the top part of the tissue box, this will act as your steering wheel.

    • 6

If you're feeling creative, paint your car with interesting designs. If you're feeling traditional, paint racing stripes along the sides of your car and paint the bottle cap wheels black to mimic the tires on a real car. Have fun with it.

Make several other cars so you can race them on the hard wood floors of your house.
