How to Replace the Main Rotor of a Havoc Heli

The Air Hogs Havoc Heli is an extremely light, micro-size, indoor remote-controlled helicopter designed for beginners. The Air Hogs Havoc Heli runs on battery power and has an advertised flight time of up to six minutes per charge. If you ever damage the main rotor blade of your Havoc Heli through mishandling or an in-flight crash, you can easily replace the damaged component with a few simple hand tools. Replacing the damaged main rotor will save you money as opposed to purchasing a new helicopter.

Instructions

    • 1

Grasp the main rotor shaft below the main rotor blade with a small pair of needle nose pliers.

    • 2

Grip the main rotor shaft and attempt to twist off the main rotor blade. If you are unable to successfully remove the old rotor blade, carefully use a utility knife to cut the rotor blade off the rotor shaft.

    • 3

Apply a small amount of silicone adhesive to the rotor shaft. While gripping the rotor shaft with your pair of needle nose pliers, install the new rotor blade onto the rotor shaft. The top of the rotor shaft should be flush with the top of the new rotor blade.

    • 4

Wait for the adhesive to dry before operating the remote-controlled helicopter.
