Instructions
Remove the trucks from the board with the Tech Deck tool. Insert the tool in the small bolts and turn it counter-clockwise to remove them.
Wash the board in warm soapy water to remove dirt. Let the board air dry for at least 10 minutes.
Sand the underside of the board with 600-grit sandpaper. Three or four firm strokes from side to side should be enough. The rough surface will help with adhesion. Brush any loose particles off with your hand.
Prepare a painting spot outdoors, but not in direct sunlight. Lay a sheet of newspaper down to prevent paint from getting on other surfaces.
Spray the board with a thin layer of primer. Make one swift stroke from the left to the right side, and then one more stroke from the right to left side. Let the board sit until dry, usually between 10 and 15 minutes.
Spray the board with spray paint once the primer is dry. Start with two strokes of paint, as you did with the primer. Let the paint dry for five to 10 minutes and then apply a second coat. If two coats are not enough, repeat the process until you are pleased with the color.
