How to Pilot the Havoc Heli

Air Hogs toys are simplified versions of nautical or aeronautical remote-controlled vehicles designed for use by young children. Usually made from foam or rubber with simple controls, learning how to fly these impressive toys is a snap. The Air Hogs Havoc Heli is no exception, and does an admirable job of replicating the characteristic hover and maneuverability of real-world helicopters. Air Hogs Havoc Heli is designed for children ages 8 and up.

Instructions

  Move the power switch on your Havoc Heli to the "ON" position. Place the helicopter on a flat surface in the center of a large room.

  Move the power switch on your remote controller to the "ON" position and extend the controller&'s antenna.

  Press up on the left-hand thumbstick, which controls the helicopter&'s main rotor. Pressing up will accelerate the rotor, lifting the helicopter into the air. Release the thumbstick to make the helicopter hover in the air.

  Press the "L" on the trim switch, located on your controller if the helicopter is slowly rotating counterclockwise. Press the "R" on the trim switch if the helicopter is slowly rotating clockwise. The trim switch calibrates the helicopter&'s tail rotor and causes the vehicle to turn left or right when it accelerates or decelerates.

  Press the left-hand thumbstick up and down to move the Havoc Heli up and down in the air. Press the right-hand thumbstick right and left to rotate the Havoc Heli left and right in the air.

  Pilot the Havoc Heli forward by lightly pressing the right-hand thumbstick to the right. Doing so will cause the helicopter to slightly rotate to the right, but will also propel the vehicle forward. Lightly press the right-hand thumbstick to the left to compensate for the rotation and keep the vehicle flying in a straight line.

  Alternate pressing the right-hand thumbstick right and left to move your helicopter forward at high speeds. Combine this steering mechanic with the left-hand thumbstick to fly around the room and perform spectacular stunts.
