LEGO Racer Games for Kids

LEGOs have been a children&'s toy sensation for decades. In their most basic form, they are simply small plastic blocks, but when attached to other pieces, LEGOs enable kids to create anything from castles to pirate ships and skyscrapers. One of the newest lines is the fold-out LEGO Racer games, which include LEGO-based vehicles in a series of racing scenarios.
  1. Highway Chaos

    • Highway Chaos, like all the LEGO Racer games, folds out into an asphalt race setting. This one in particular revolves around a wild goose chase whereby one racer, a blue sports car with a supercharger engine popping out of the hood, is on the run from the law, specifically a souped-up cop car with a red and blue siren and a large spoiler. Highway obstacles include a detailed toll booth with a built-in barrier bar.

    Chopper Jump

    • Similar to Highway Chaos, Chopper Jump, with its freeway layout, also features a high-speed police chase. The vehicle on the run, however, is a "turbo-charged" yellow Hummer with a black racing stripe down the middle, while the vehicle in pursuit is not a car but a police helicopter. The setting consists of a series of ramps and turns, along with a dumpster full of boxes and barrels that one must maneuver around. There&'s even a "wanted" sign with a miniature photo of that very same yellow Hummer.

    Ramp Crash

    • As its name suggests, Ramp Crash features a steep ramp with two red and white barriers. The plot for this highway layout revolves around a super-speed red racer pickup truck, which must not only handle the large ramp but avoid the even larger Mack Truck that just happens to be transporting barrels labeled "toxic waste." The highway also includes signs and tire-stacked barriers along the edge of the road.

    Ice Rally

    • The Ice Rally track features two evenly matched Lego sports cars pitted against each other in a race to the finish line. Although one is yellow and the other red, each has the same sports-car design with a giant spoiler in the back. The real challenge here is the series of slick ice patches along the track. These and the barriers jutting into the road are what stand between those two race cars and the checkered finish line.
