Things You'll Need
Instructions
Cut out your ramp frames from a piece of corrugated cardboard. They should feature a right-angled corner, a high back, a flat section at the top and a long curve down to the ground. Use your first frame as a template for the second and third.
Cut out a strip of cardboard several inches wide. Its length should equal the desired width of your finished quarter-pipe.
Glue the cardboard strip to the underside of the frame bases, thereby providing a foundation for your ramp. Two frames should be positioned on the ends of the cardboard strip, with the third frame in the center.
Cut and glue another cardboard strip to the upper flat section of your frames. This is where your skateboard will rest before "dropping" down the ramp. As before, ensure that the frames are glued to the ends of the strip. At this point, your frames should be locked in place and shouldn&'t move freely.
Cut your card stock the width of your ramp and glue it along the frame curves down to the ground. Depending on the size of your ramp, you may need to use several pieces of card stock for this step.
Snip the long, straight section away from a wire hanger using a pair of wire cutters. Hold the wire at the top edge of your ramp and snip off any excess. Glue the wire to the top edge, creating a coping for your ramp.
Cut away any excess paper or cardboard with your scissors to give your ramp a cleaner look. Draw a design on your card stock to personalize your homemade ramp even further.
