How to Fly a Havoc Heli

The Air Hogs toy company excels at manufacturing simple, easy-to-use aeronautical vehicles for young children. These vehicles are usually made from foam materials and have rechargeable batteries for durability and longevity. One of the more popular models is the Havoc Heli, recommended for children ages eight and above. With a full charge, users can expect seven to eight minutes of flight time. Flying the Havoc Heli requires patience and careful thumb maneuvering.

Instructions

  1. Trimming your Havoc Heli

    • 1

      Move the power switch on the helicopter from "OFF" to "ON." Place your Havoc Heli on a flat surface with the cockpit facing away from you.

      Move the power switch on the remote controller from "OFF" to "ON."

      Gently press the left-hand flight stick forward, thereby increasing the main rotor speed. Your Havoc Heli should lift into the air and hover in place.

      Press the left side of the trim adjuster if your helicopter is rotating clockwise in the air. Continue pressing the button until your helicopter stabilizes and no longer rotates.

      Press the right side of the trim adjuster if your helicopter is rotating counterclockwise in the air. Continue pressing the button until your helicopter stabilizes and no longer rotates.

      Release the throttle stick slowly, thereby bringing the helicopter back to the ground in a gentle landing.

    Flying your Havoc Heli

      Make sure the helicopter and remote controller are both powered on and that your Havoc Heli is on a flat surface with the cockpit facing away from you.

      Press up on the left-hand thumb stick to increase rotor speed, thereby lifting the helicopter away from the ground. Press down on the thumb stick to decrease rotor speed, thereby lowering the helicopter in the air.

      Press right on the right-hand thumb stick to decrease the stabilizer rotor&'s speed, thereby turning the helicopter counterclockwise. Press left on the left-hand thumb stick to increase the stabilizer rotor&'s speed, thereby turning the helicopter clockwise.

      Alternate pressing right and left on the right-hand thumb to "waggle" your helicopter forward in the air. Gently pressing the right-hand thumb stick will result in slow forward movement, while more forceful use of the thumb stick will result in accelerated movement.
