How to Make a Fuzion Scooter Tailwhip

Fuzion scooters are similar to Razor scooters, except the Fuzion variety feature a pair of wheels at each end of the board as opposed to only one. The wheel pairs make the structure more stable but also slightly heavier. Like Razor scooters, Fuzion scooters are used to perform a variety of tricks, including the tailspin, which rotates the entire lower portion of the scooter 360 degrees around the handlebar while in the air.

Instructions

    • 1

Push off with your dominant foot to gain speed on your Fuzion scooter. You need a minimum of 3 mph to 4 mph to pull off a tailwhip.

    • 2

Bend your knees and jump away from the ground, simultaneously pulling upward on the scooter. This pulls the entire scooter away from the ground. The move commonly is referred to as an ollie.

    • 3

Use your left foot to kick the scooter's board to the left while simultaneously kicking your right leg backward to counter the sudden movement.

    • 4

Allow the board to rotate clockwise 360 degrees. During this motion, bring both feet back together directly under your center of gravity.

    • 5

Lower your feet and connect with the board the moment it rotates beneath your legs. Ride the scooter down to the ground.

    • 6

Bend your knees to absorb shock, and keep your face away from the handlebars.
