Instructions
Put on your protective gear. Always wear a helmet. Razor also suggests wearing safety-approved kneepads and elbow pads for optimal safety.
Inspect the Razor before riding. Parents should unfold the scooter and inspect the frame and handlebars for cracks or other damage. Do not allow anyone to ride the scooter if any damage is evident.
Place both hands on the handlebars. Place your left foot on the appropriate foot rest and push off with your right foot. When you start to move, place your right foot on its footrest.
Gently shift your hips side-to-side as you glide to maintain speed or go faster. The faster you move your hips, the faster you can go. Turn the handlebars to guide the scooter; keep your hands on the handlebars at all times to maintain control of the scooter.
Slowly pull back on the brake handle, located on the left handlebar, to slow or stop the Powerwing scooter. Do not pull the brake suddenly, as the momentum may cause you to lose your balance. If you need to get going again, start shifting your hips or push off again.
