How to Charge a Havoc Heli Helicopter

Released in 2007, Air Hog's remote-controlled Havoc Heli is a basic electronic helicopter recommended for children ages 8 and up. The user can control the vehicle's elevation, yaw and horizontal motion with a well-labeled remote controller powered by six AA batteries. Eventually, the helicopter's internal batteries will need to be recharged if your Havoc Heli ever wishes to leave the tarmac again.

Instructions

    • 1

Allow the battery to cool down for at least 15 minutes after recent use before attempting to charge your toy.

    • 2

Slide the charge plate on the front face of the remote controller downward to expose the charging wire.

    • 3

Pull the charge wire away from the controller and plug it into the charge terminal on the helicopter. The terminal is located just below the cockpit and labeled "CHG."

    • 4

Note the LED light on the front of the remote controller labeled "Charge." If the helicopter is properly charging, the LED should glow green. When the LED blinks out, the helicopter is finished charging. It should take approximately 30 minutes for the helicopter to fully charge for five or six minutes of flight.

    • 5

Remove the plug from the helicopter's charge terminal and replace it behind the sliding charge panel on the remote controller.
